The 2019 season marks the 150th anniversary of college football. College football traces its history to the game on November 6, 1869 between Princeton, known then as the College of New Jersey, and Rutgers College on the Rutgers campus in New Brunswick, NJ.
There will be a number of events throughout the season to celebrate this milestone. One of the ways that CFO will participate in this celebration is through the officials’ uniforms. For the 2019 season only, each official’s shirts will have a patch bearing the official CFB150 logo. This special patch is to be worn on the right sleeve, three inches below the right shoulder seam. This mirrors the CFO patch on the left sleeve. Each official who registers with CFO for 2019 will receive CFB150 patches as a part of the registration package. Also, a number of the apparel suppliers are including the logo on the manufactured shirt.
